Treetops Chalet

Great location, short drive from Leura shops and restaurants. Positive: The location was good, a nice quiet neighbourhood Negative: We had to pay a $120 cleaning fee even though we were also told to clean the house before leaving. Many dishes in the cupboards were still dirty, same with utensils. The fridge had a weird smell and so did a few of the bedrooms. I think if we’re paying a cleaning fee we can expect the house and its facilities to be clean.

A beautiful and warm house Positive: It's a beautiful house in the mountains. Amazing garden, you can find everything in the house. It was warm.

We were very disappointed that such basic amenities as tv and cooktop were not working perfectly from the moment we arri Positive: Location 3 bedrooms Negative: Host took 24 hours of ongoing exchange of messages to determine that the tv did not work because the antenna (located in one of the bedrooms far from the screen) was not plugged in, then to work out that batteries in remotes were flat and never did provide instructions for use. The gas cooktop burners were very dirty and gas did not pass through many of the holes so heating very uneven and gas smell quite strong. Oven instructions finally found after asking host and getting no helpful response - under messy notices on fridge All in all the instructions for use of house’s facilities were woefully inadequate if we could find them at all

Positive: The location was really good. Close to Leura shops, good cafes and great restaurants Negative: The linen needs replacing as the towels were very thin and old

We had a fantastic time , the place was beautiful and the location was amazing. Positive: The location was beautiful, right near all the waterfalls and close to the main stretch of leura but still private Negative: Nothing it was perfect
